Gastronomy
The gastronomic offer of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria could knock many people off their feet. There is a restaurant in practically every street, cafe or at least a small bar. The charming pubs are located in the streets of Vequety and Triana, but there are also places for smaller or larger things in the vicinity of Santa Catalina and Playa de las Centeras.
Vequeta Triana Brothers Garda (c / Castillo and León 67). Two brothers run a traditional Canarian restaurant near Plaza de San Telmo. The place is often visited by locals, where you can eat well and cheaply.
The Herreo (c / Mendizabal 5; 928310513). The restaurant in the very center of the historic district is almost always full of guests. Good local food for a not too high price,
Hippocrates (c / Colon 4; 928313371). Nice and inexpensive vegetarian restaurant close to the Museo Colón.
Hoya the Old (c / Perdomo 15; 928360460; sb. closed). Family restaurant in Triana, Delicious home cooked food.
Centeras Beach
Casa Galicia (with Salvador Cuyós 8; 928279855). The restaurant next to the beach serves traditional dishes from Spanish Galicia.
Carmelo House (Walk of the Quarries 2; 928469056). Restaurant right on the beach, in which international dishes are served.
Seaview (c/ Jesus of Nazareth 44; 928460414). Unpretentious restaurant on the headland of La Isleta, which serves excellent and fresh fish.

Pubs and clubs
The nightlife in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is booming – it is difficult to count various style pubs and bars. The most popular nightlife in the capital is La Vequeta, okolice Santa Catalina Park oraz Plaza de la España. The premises on Playa de la Canteras are also keeping up with them. There is an extraordinary atmosphere in La Pequea Habana (c/Fernando Guanarteme 45), where Cubans come to play. It is calm and chiiloutly in the nearby Mumbai Cafe Lounge (c / Covadonga 11). The classic on the Las Palmas night map is the Cuasquillas disco (with San Pedro 2; 928370046), which opens the conquest of Fr. 22.30, and closes by Fr.… 14.30. You can also dance in the extremely popular Palacio Latino disco (c / Alfredo L. Jones) and in Pachś (t / Simon Bolivar 13), a place popular with people in their thirties.
