Bus
Tenerife boasts a well-organized public transport system. It is not an exaggeration - very punctual and frequent buses allow you to virtually go around the island (it may not be the most convenient, nonetheless possible). Persons, who decide to travel by bus, should buy a pass too 12 or € 30 (with a pass on routes longer than 20 km the price of the trip is lower by even by 50%, and vouchers entitle you to a number of discounts, e.g. in museums, in parking lots).
After boarding the bus, the voucher must be presented (unprinted white side up) to the validator and inform the driver, where do you want to go. Car
Renting a car is by far the most convenient, the cheapest (excluding hiking) and the fastest way to get around the island. Rentals are almost everywhere, and the rental and gasoline prices are quite affordable. It is worth making a reservation online before leaving.
