Carnival is approaching 2013 in Tenerife, this is not to be missed!!!
The Santa Cruze Carnival is the biggest Canarian fiesta. In terms of momentum, resources and the number of participants exceeds it only the carnival in Rio de Janeiro. The music sounds on all sides, a colorful crowd sweeps through the streets of the endless city, dancing procession. Lots of slack and laughter, a bit of drunkenness and a hint of eroticism. But no aggression. The theme of last year's carnival was "Flower Power", this year it will be "Bollywood". Currently, the Carnival of Santa Cruz in Tenerife aspires to be included by UNESCO on the list of the Heritage of Humanity.
The Santa Cruze Carnival is about to begin 06 February 2013 and will last until 17 February 2013.
The most popular points of the program are: Election of the Queen of the Carnival (Grand Gala for the Election of the Carnival Queen 2013, Wednesday, 06.02.2013 at. 21:00), The Carnival Opening Parade (Carnival Announcer Parade 2013, Friday, 08.02.2013 at. 20:00), The Great Carnival Parade (Coso Apotheosis of Carnival, Tuesday, 12.02.2013 at. 16:00) and the Burial of the Sardine (Burial of the Sardine, Wednesday, 13.02.2012 at. 21:00).
Admission to the vast majority of the carnival program is free.
