The idea of creating the park arose in 1970 r., and its authors were Wolfgang Kiessling and his father. 17 of December 1972 year the park was opened to the public. At the time, it was 13,000m² and with its tropical gardens it was home to many species of parrots. The first performances in Europe took place at Loro Parque, attended by parrots. So far, the park has been visited by over 40 million tourists from all over the world, while the park increased its area 10 - fold.
Siam Park - open to tourists in 2008 year, the biggest attraction in Europe, included in the water parks. Located in the south of Tenerife, near the tourist center (The Americas, The Christians). The area of the park (185000m²) includes gardens, slides, restaurants, a swimming pool with a beach and other attractions referring to the Thai architecture with their style. Moreover, Siam Park offers its spaces to organize all kinds of events, corporate meetings and events, musical performances, as well as swimming lessons for adults and the youngest surfers.
