CANDELARIA – guide

CANDELARIA

Communication, orientation and information

There are buses to Candelaria from Santa Cruz de Tenerife (#122, 123, 124,131; ok. 30 min). The town is situated on the seashore, however, there are only a few small black beaches, which due to strong sea currents are not suitable for bathing. For this purpose, it is better to go to the beaches of Punta Larga and Caletillas in small towns north of Candelaria. Information about the town, but also about the whole region, and very good hiking maps are available from the tourist information office (Avda. of the Constitution s / n; tel 922032230, oit@candelaria.es, www.candelaria.es; Vll-X codz. 9.00-18.00, XI-VI codz. 9.00-17.00).

Accommodation and gastronomy
